Converse changing the world with Chuck Taylor®

Converse is an American shoe company that creates shoes thats fits most of our purposes like lifestyle,sports etc. It was founded in February 1908 by  Marquis Mills Converse in Malden, Massachusetts, United States,it has been a subsidary of Nike.inc since 2003.

During World War II,it shifted the manufacture of footwear for the military.For over a half century it dominated the American shoe market.From the 1970s,the company lost its dominant position because competition was tough and companies presented their own style.

Converse,a revolutionary shoe that changed everything.Earlier in the years 1908-1920,converse shoes in sports emerged and it was somewhere in between these period that converse officially introduced it's first basketball shoe the All Star®.The first appearance of the worlds first full-blodded basketball sneaker ,the Converse All Star®,was in the feet of Charles H."Chucks" Taylor.The shoe later was also know as “Chucks”, “Cons”, “Connies”.Charles was an all American High school player who later plays for the original Celtics,Buffalo Germans and Akron Firestones.

Throughout the 20th century,the shoe changed the whole game.The climax moment in the history of converse is when Charles gets his name on the shoes.Charles joins the Converse company in 1921 in Chicago and plays a huge role in the company.He had ideas that brought changes in the world of converse and which made the performance of the shoe better.The famous patch in the shoe was his plan it was to protect the ankles for the players wearing it.Marquis Mills Converse was impressed by Charles that he put his signature in the shoe.Thus "Chuck Taylor®" was born.Charles H.Taylor also became the first basketball player who had his own signature shoe.

The Chuck Taylor ® All Star® captured the eyes worldwide.The shoe took over the world celebrities like actor,rappers started wearing them and soon everyone had these.The company still keeps on growing and creates amazing shoes,here's a new version of chucks converse recently introduced.
